This recipe is from my friend Tammy. It came from the recipe book that goes with her bread machine. It is a very good bread. This makes a 1.5 lb loaf.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon of oil
  • 2 1/2 tablespoon of packed brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon of milk (I use regular milk, not dry)
  • 2 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 3 cups of  bread flour
  • 2 teaspoons of active dry yeast

Directions
  1. Add the oil, water, and milk into the bread machine.
  2. Next add all of the dry ingredients except for the yeast.
  3. Make a well in the dry ingredients.
  4. Pour the yeast into the well.
  5. Begin the process in the bread machine.
  6. My machine will beep during the kneading process to let you know to add the raisins.

  • anonymous : It is entirely possible I forgot to put the raisins in when I gave you the recipe! We are busy ladies who do our best! I love your website and you do a great job!
  • kml9876 : I always end up forgetting to type something. I will fix this to include the raisins! Having a toddler and typing up recipes does not always mix well. My machine does not have a nut/fruit bin.
  • anonymous : Don't forget the raisins! I always just add them to my fruit and nut bin at the top of the bread machine and they add themselves. I like tons of raisins in it. I use regular milk as well, just use 1 1/2 tbsp less water.- tammy
