How To Make A Braided Pizza Roll

Ingredients
  • 1 loaf of frozen bread dough defrosted
  • your favorite spaghetti or pizza sauce
  • mozzarella cheese
  • your favorite pizza toppings


Directions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350.
  2. Flour a surface to roll out the dough into a rectangle.
  3. After the dough has been rolled out place the sauce down the center. Be sure to leave at least an inch on each side and on the top and bottom.
  4. Sprinkle with cheese and any toppings that you would like.
  5. Using a pizza cutter slice even lines to the center of the dough. See picture below.


  6. Pull each piece towards the center so that it looks like it has been braided. Fold the ends down.

  7. Spray a cookie sheet with cooking spray.
  8. Place the roll on the cookie sheet and brush on vegetable oil. Bake for 30-35 minutes
  9. Place the pizza roll on baking sheet.
